It's probably just a reaction and it will clear up soon. My daughter is allegergic to that stuff and her legs break out in what looks like acne for a few days. Use a good moisturizer and it should help if you are having a little bit of burning with it.

just use non irritating skin cleanser and in a few more days it should clear up.

I suggest a loofah, followed by astringent. It can gently exfoliate the area and let the hairs pop on through, doing away with the red spots. If you're really determined, I have heard of people scrubbing their face GENTLY with facial cleanser and an electric toothbrush.

Well as an E.MT., The redness is from the acid, it is a mild form of acid burn. you should be OK in a few days. just keep washing your face with a very mild soap and cool water and pat your face dry. and in the future you might ask your girlfriend to keep her hair removal products in a different place.
