My hair looks like a put gel in it at the scalp after i wash it?

Ok so i shower once or twice a day depending on if i have somewhere nice to go or something. the other day when i took a shower then blew dryed it [like ALWAYS] at the scalp it felt like i had hair spray in it. this has never happened and its SO anyoing i scrubbed my hair and made surfe that all the conditioner and shampoo was out. HELP!

You might have dandruff. If that's the case, use head and shoulders to wash it. Or you may have buildup, so use a clarifying shampoo and conditioner. Pantene Pro-V sells some.

Was your hair dry and stiff, or greasy and moussed up? If it was dry and stiff, try changing your shampoo or conditioner, or both. Did you use the right setting for your hair dryer?

Try a gentle shampoo, like baby shampoo, and a mild conditioner for a few weeks. Things should return to normal.

Did you use a new shampoo or conditioner? Did anything get into your hair (like tanning lotion or perfume?) during the day? Or did you shower at someplace different than you usually do? Well water can sometimes have more minerals in it than city water, which can weight your hair down. Did you have color or highlights (or any other chemicals)put onto your hair? There are so many factors to consider with this problem. I don't have an answer, you'll just have to think back on what might have went wrong...Sorry!
