i have a huge pbm...FRIZZES..i'll straighten my hair and it will seem very silky and smooth for the first few minutes, but later (especially when i go outside)..my hair gets all messed up..so because of this i cant even let my hair down..and if i let it down..it is soo embarassing for me cuz of the PUFFINESS and the FRIZZYNESS..

You need to buy one that is 100% ceramic, why because it is simply, it wont make your hair frizzy or puffy,it will make it softer, silker, and shiny I'm serious, even in the cold or humidity. But before you do anything to your hair, put something in it that will protect it from damage, like Bio Silk, that is a very good product. As for Shampoo I WOULD say if your on a budget, TRESemm.
Never use a flat iron on your hair if its wet, it will cause more damage then you need okay Hun.

It has a built in conditioner and I dont' need to use a separate one. I let my hair air dry. Then I use my Maxiglide styling tool and it flattens straightens and seals my hair so it won't frizz even if it is humid when is most days in Atl. The also make two products that help with the frizz if you want to use them too one of them is a silicone product that you can get anywhere or get the kit with Maxiglide by maximus. Generally your hair is either naturally curly OR you have damage. The more you straighten your hair, also...you are doing more damage to it. Make sure you are using a heat protectant when you flat iron your hair. I do hair, and at the shop we use Redken. So, when it comes to Redken products I would recommend getting something like Glass as a heat protectant, and getting All Soft shampoo and Conditioner. However, if it is from extreme damage, I would use Extreme shampoo and conditioner. Also, I'm a big fan of a product called Lush Whip by Redken. With that, a little bit goes a long way, and it isn't greasy. And, putting a semi-permanent gloss (color) in your hair can help improve it's condition. You can get glosses in clear if you like your current color, too.

Dove Therapy shampoo for severely dry and damaged hair is great...I use it for my hair..and Dove has a creme for frizzes for thick hair ...you can put it on your hair when its wet and when its dry so you can put more on where the frizzy spots are at...When I straighten my hair I use a spray that's made to help when using hot tools ...when your hair is dry spray it on just lightly then use your straightener..after that i spray a flexible hairspray on it then kinda comb it through then do a quick go over with my straightener my hair doesn't get frizzy anymore

Let it air dry - it's much healthier for your hair. I've tried a lot of products. But, I've found pantene ice shampoo and conditioners work great. After you towel dry, spray on thermasilk leave in conditioner. Then, use pantene gel. (Blue tube.) Thats what works for me. Once a week or every day if your hair seems really dry, you can try pantene restoratives deep conditioning. Also, to save yourself the trouble, chemically straighten your hair (I like Oglive). You only do that once every 3 months.

Wrap your hair in a towel and let the conditioner soak into your hair for about 15 mins. Then wash it out. I'm sure this sounds dumb but its what my hair dresser said for me to do and it works great. What can i put on my hair to make it silky and shiny??any specific shampoo??conditioner??gel? the BEST one that i have EVER used is...PAntene-ProV conditioner...but its the "extra straight" one...its an offwhite container with green and gold writing...I canNOT let my hair air dry..its just gets GROSS...BUT when i use this conditioner, my hair is AWESOME, really smooth and pretty straight(even without blowdrying or straightening).....use that and then there is this stuff called "after-party" its a pink bottle of creme for after you blowdry your hair, i THINK the brand is "bedhead" but go to CVS or whereever and its like $17 but who cares- it works! when you use it, rub it in your hands as fast as you can, until your arms are tired(it works better when its heated and the friction from rubbing your hands works really good) and use a little at first, so it doesnt look greasy, and if you need more, use more...GOOD LUCK also....every once in a while, when i go to the mall, i stop into the hair salon(any well known one) and ask them to shampoo and blow dry my hair straight...its usually less than $20, lasts for a few days and looks AWESOME...its worth it to do every 2 months or so...like getting a manicure...HOPE I HELPED=0)
