its like a lotion consistancy and its really cheap

you could, but very very lightly. then put a little more on after. i'd recommend after only. or lightly spray it. both work.

It depends on the type of your hair. I use to do that, but my hair became rough and kinda sticky, and also kinda dry.but my hair was really curly. if your hair is wavy itll probably work better.

hi, it is not wise to place gel on your hair before straighten, reasons are; one if hair is too fine the gel will just slides right out along with the straightener tool, secondly after applying gel the humidity in the air will moisten the gel and hair will return to its natural wave or curl after an hour or two.

i advice you watch your hair, blow dry it using a round brush then when completely dry, then you can use your hot straightener tool , do one section 3time, when complete you apply hair polisher or oil sheen to give it shine.

try it, it works for me.
