I'm not an expert on this but I once heard that if you use hair products on children it slows the growth of their hair because it clogs their hair follicles.

It shouldn't. I use a tiny blob of mousse on my 6 year old daughter's hair before i blow dry it with low heat (otherwise it looks like a mess) and it seems as healthy as ever.

not unless you use a great amount. It can clog hair follicles. but if you use a great shampoo every day to cleanse the hair than it won't matter at all! Paul Mitchell makes a product called Baby Don't Cry that works better than Johnson's Baby Shampoo if you are to start using other products on your son.

No....... I have been in the hair industry of 10 years and this is a myth..... Many people believe this but, it will not have an effect on the childs hair unless you use to much and never wash it out.
