Well I can honestly say I've never heard that before, I have a sister and a niece that are both hair dressers and I don't think they would keep that knowledge to themselves ,I am actually presuming that you wash your hair regularly and don't just keep adding gel on top of gel that is ?

Well, that sounds like it may be true! Hint: Don't use gel! Eww! It looks like you have long hair, so use a a cream or a mousse.
