I dont think it ruins your hair, just makes it look really stiff, and flake, but as far as i kno doesnt do any damage

Yeah, I heard that if you use too much gel, your hair would fall out easier.
Well, that's what I heard from others. But using anything too much isnt good for your hair anyway

Well. when i shower in the morning i dont have time to blowdry and straighten my hair. so i will jell it down. sometimes when i do that i notice that strands of hair are stuck to the left over jell on my hands. i mean..its not alot but its a few strands, i dont usually worry about it because my hair is very thick. and my stylist says my hair doesnt looked damaged at all, so im pretty sure it doesnt affect your hair unless you dont treat your hair right, as in, dyeing it alot, and not using conditonair, ect.
