I think doing something to your hair is one of, if not THE most noticeable small change you can make to get noticed.

It doesn't necessarily have to be slicked back, but that looks really good on some guys, it can be intriguing, making one question his age.

It can make a difference. I guess it depends on the guy, but yes- for some guys it looks really good when they put effort into there hair and makes a difference in first appearances. Plus, maybe you felt better about your own appearance and therefor attracted more attention.

Maybe it works that way for you...and if it does I'd say do it more often! My man does not slick back his hair but he does wear gel sometimes and I like it but he always looks sexy to me ;)

i dont think it is so much the gel as it may be your confidence...if you look at movies and what not..guys with the slicked back do's seem to be very much the incharge..cool..tough..kinda looking individuals...something we have been programed to believe about a guy with slicked back hair...they are confident...and thats what most people want is someone with confidence..seems to have perked yours a bit...so if it works..run with it
