I think your a guy,by name and avatar but no gel wont make your hair fall out unless its acid or aids in a bottle ,with the way i do my hair sometimes i leave gel in for a month or so at a time otherwise its impossible to do and its waterproof and we all know that because of theres alot more chemicals but i havnt had a problem and i don't see on anywhere in the future
