Whats better for hair/skin...cold or hot shower?why doesnt the smell of the shower gel stay onmy bod

It's actually better to have cold showers for your skin coz the coldness contracts your skin and doesn't encourage evaporation of water vapors from your skin. But most of us can't take cold showers all the time, so try not to use water that is too hot.

Smell of your shower gel does stay on your body, just that you grow used to the smell after a while and don't smell it anymore - it's the same for perfume.

Showers should be warm at the very least just to make sure you get clean. A cold rinse is good afterwords, but it has to be warm to kill the germs and get rid of the dirt. As for the smell, your body puts out oils and scents as soon as you get out of the shower. Anything you put on in the shower will start to be covered over with your own scent within 10 seconds and keeps up until you shower again. This is how we can be tracked so easily by dogs and the like.

TOO hot of a shower strips the moisture from your skin and hair and will leave it dry and itchy, this always happens to me. cool rinsing your hair after washing, will help lock in the shine, or so i have heard.
