Scrunch gel for wavy hair??

I hve thick wavy hair that is hard to handle. I want to try scrunching it but i have never done it before... please answer my questions!!

1. will scrunching work on wavy thick hair?

2. what type of stuff and brand should i use for my type of hair to make it curly and cute?

Aussie scrunch spray and depp gel. This is the only thing that works on my hair. I have horrible frizzy curly hair.

Of course! It doesn't matter what kind of hair you have to scrunch! [unless you have the afro kind of hair. my friend has an afro and she said she can only tie it or braid it.]

I have the suave gel. Try straightening your hair a little first, then put the stuff in it. Might help tame it a little.

Hey I have the same thing, first of all use a "3 minute miracle" conditioner. There are smoe really cheap ones too that work good and sprucnh spray by aussie (purple bottle) works well

yeah it'll work and use lots of mouse and hairspray. avoid gel cuz it leave white stuff in your hair so does hairspray but it's better. use more mouse.

you just spray the hair spray all over your hair. its better if you do it right after taking a shower while your hair is wet cause it makes it not messy looking..

I have the same hair you have. I have tried all the fancy expensive salon stuff, and do you know what? they don't work any better. Plain old gel from the grocery store works the best. Just put a bunch in scrunch it up and let it air dry.

Yes scrunching will work. I use tresemme product and I have very unruly, thick, curly hair.

the answer to your question is ANY and ALL gels or mousses.. It does not matter, I can PROMISE you with your hair type they will all do the same job ;-)

Just head to wal-mart %26amp; let your sniffer do the work. Pick whatever smell is good 4 you! lol

It will work, but I would recomend doing it in sections if it is really thick. I would suggest Umberto Gianni Curl Friends Scrunching Gel although if your hair is very thick you are probably better off with a mousse such as Shockwaves 'Twirl it' Curl Defence Heat Mousse. Apply a liberal amount and make sure it's well dispersed through the hair. You can leave it to dry naturally or blast it with a hairdrier (using a diffuser) but this can sometimes lessen the curling effect. If you want the strongest curls then scrunch the hair after applying the product and let it dry naturally. Best of luck

i have the same kind of hair...

before you scrunch it, wet it, like put the water on a brush and brush it threw, then just grab soem gel and i gues you would rub it togfether kind of, wiht any gel, some work better, but they should all work. then you have to hairspray the crap out of it. if it doesnt look right, get a towel, and dry it a little bit, you might have used to much gel

I love Curls Rock mixed with Curls Rock booster. Run it through your and use a diffuser to dry. To avoid frizz, dont touch your hair while drying. When you hair is dry and a little crunchy, feel free to run your hands through it to break it up. Curls Rock is strong enough to hold the curl. You can also,with your dry hair, get a light paste and just grab random locks of hair and twirl them. Separates the curls nicely

i've also used cheap suave gel but "freeze it" hair spray. it evens out the price and lasts a long time

by all means scrunch it to enhance the look but please dont use gel. it looks wet, sticky, common and manky. do you see it in vogue. no. so we dont want to see it out and about.
